Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about how we work, what to expect, and how to get started.
You will never chase us — that is a guarantee. The biggest failure in software development is not a bug or a missed deadline, it is silence. At Lemorange, proactive communication is how we operate. Every project gets a dedicated point of contact, structured sprint reviews, and regular progress reports on a fixed schedule. Urgent queries get immediate responses, not a ticket number and a three-day wait. We flag risks before they become problems and we keep you informed even when there is nothing dramatic to report. Our clients consistently tell us that our communication alone sets us apart from every other agency they have worked with. We do not disappear between milestones — we are in the conversation with you, every step of the way.
Yes. We offer fully managed hosting and infrastructure services so you do not have to worry about servers, uptime, security patches, or scaling. We deploy your solution on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure — Azure, AWS, or dedicated servers depending on your requirements — and monitor it 24/7 with automated alerting, performance dashboards, and proactive maintenance. This includes SSL management, automated backups, disaster recovery, load balancing, and regular security updates. Many of our clients choose managed hosting because it means one team owns the entire lifecycle: build, deploy, monitor, and improve.
The majority of our clients are outside Cyprus. We have offices in Nicosia, London, and Wuhan, and we work with companies across Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and Asia. Most of our collaboration happens remotely through video calls, shared project boards, and async communication. Timezone overlap with Europe and the UK is seamless, and our Wuhan office extends our coverage for clients in APAC. If you need on-site presence for kickoff meetings or key milestones, we can arrange that too.
That is completely normal and honestly one of the most valuable things we do. We offer a discovery phase where we sit down with you, understand your business problems, look at what systems you currently have, and figure out what actually needs to be built versus what can be solved with existing tools or simple changes. Sometimes the answer is a full custom platform. Sometimes it is fixing your WordPress performance and connecting two systems that currently don't talk to each other. We will give you an honest recommendation, not sell you the most expensive option.
For most projects we can start within one to two weeks of signing off. The first week is focused: we set up communication channels, do a deep dive into your requirements, review any existing systems or codebases, and produce a technical plan with clear milestones. By the end of week one you will have a shared project board, a defined sprint backlog, and a team that already understands your business context. No wasted time, no three-month onboarding process.
No. Most of our client relationships extend well beyond initial delivery. We offer structured support packages — from basic business-hours coverage to 24/7 enterprise SLAs with dedicated engineers. This includes bug fixes, security updates, performance monitoring, and feature enhancements as your business grows. Many of our clients have been with us for years on ongoing retainers. We also make sure every project is properly documented and that your team can maintain it independently if that is what you prefer.
Yes, and it is more common than you might think. We regularly take over projects from other agencies, freelancers, or internal teams that hit a wall. We start with a thorough code audit and architecture review to understand what we are working with, identify technical debt and risks, and build a realistic plan to stabilize and move forward. We will be honest about the state of the codebase — sometimes it makes sense to continue building on what exists, sometimes a strategic rewrite of key components is the faster path.
We work with both fixed-price and time-and-materials models depending on the project. For well-defined scopes with clear requirements, fixed-price gives you cost certainty. For projects that are more exploratory or likely to evolve, time-and-materials with capped sprints gives you flexibility without open-ended risk. We are transparent about costs from day one — no hidden fees, no surprise invoices. Every project starts with a detailed proposal that breaks down exactly what you are paying for.
Absolutely. We sign NDAs before any detailed discussion about your project if you require it. Confidentiality is standard practice for us — many of our clients operate in regulated industries like gaming, fintech, and healthcare where data protection is not optional. We are happy to work under your NDA or provide our own.
We work across a wide range — from focused engagements like performance audits and system integrations that take a few weeks, to large-scale platform builds that run for months with dedicated teams. Our sweet spot is mid to large projects where the technical complexity justifies having a senior engineering team, but we never turn away a good challenge just because it is small. If it is interesting and we can genuinely help, we will find the right engagement model.
